26 CE credits.  This intensive three day course is ideal for both the experienced BioPAK user and the general dentist interested in learning about computerized diagnostics.  Included is a half day TMD review.  Participants gain extensive hands-on experience on their own lap tops.  This course in Biometric Diagnostics in Dentistry will teach the basics of joint and muscle practical anatomy and dysfunction and how it relates to everyday dentistry.   The BioPAK is also a great tool for increasing patient confidence levels and encouraging them to proceed with their needed therapy!

All participants will, in advance of the course, send models to the Allentown Dental Lab.  Stents will be made that will allow participants to insert all the appliances used in the Allentown Pain Center model during the course using fellow attendees as patients.  Consequently, everyone will go home having inserted all appliances and having their own appliances for their own use and for demonstration purposes for their patients!

The course is for those who have taken the BioMetrics in Dentistry (TOTAL BioPAK) course. 

This two day course will take the next big step into diagnosing and treatment using the BioPAK not only as a diagnostic tool but as an aid to monitor treatment as well as a tool to outcome measuring.

The original Biometrics (Total Biopak) course will be reviewed in a two hour segment, followed by an in depth analysis of JVA, EMG and EGN.  It's use in treatment will be explored, and unlike the basic BioMetrics course, treatment modalities will be reviewed in detail. Tuition includes all meals and an extensive reference manual.  This course has limited registration and provides up close and personal treatment of patients, pertinent lectures, and a hands-on portion for insertion of NTI’s, B splints, and a daytime parafunctional appliance.  The “pearls” never stop – between how the staff evaluates and treats patients -- how the scheduling is done -- how finances are discussed -- how new patients are scheduled and interviewed  -- and much more!

This course is an intensive three days of lecture and patient care that is sure to improve your effectiveness in treating chronic pain and joint dysfunction. 21 CE credits.  The ability to treat patients with obstructive disorders immediately upon the return to your office is the chief objective of this course.  A comprehensive review of sleep medicine principles as well as the role of the dentist in diagnosis and treatment will position the participant to become an active part of the treatment team.  A hands-on portion with appliance insertion by all participants is included, as well as practice management, billing, and managing joint and muscular complications.
